Meditation – Emptying your brain

While doing my Digital Marketing internship at Digital Deepak there was one lecture on the success mindset which mentioned the concept of “Meditation”. This is where I took this concept seriously.

The whole day we are working & at the same time busy accessing our Social Media handles. The more time we spend on these handles the more negative energies we start absorbing inside our brain. A post defaming our religious beliefs, or abusing our favorite leader stays in our minds & generates negative vibes inside our brains. Apart from that work stress, family issues, and relationship issues add to the negative vibes.

One of the powerful techniques to combat these negative vibes is meditation. I have been meditating since last year or so & it is helping me immensely. The ideal time to meditate is in the morning or before going to bed at night.

You can meditate for 5 Min daily. The technique is simple.  Sit on a floor in a cross-legged position, close your eyes & breathe in through your nose for around 3 to 4 seconds then breathe out through your mouth.  The most important thing to do during those 5 minutes is to empty your brain.

It’s very difficult to keep your brain empty even for a few seconds so 5 minutes will be a long time right? What you can do is fill your brain with a picture of your favorite God, a beautiful naturally blessed destination you visited like a lush green mountain, a seashore & so on while you meditate. Just keep the daily thoughts that keep troubling you away while you meditate. It will be difficult to start the process. It was difficult for me as well but once you get into a habit you will enjoy doing meditation.

The major advantages of mediation are it will help you to deal with stress, increase your focus, reduce negative emotions, make you calm & will help you in maintaining your overall mental health.

Every day around 16 to 18 hours we are awake and our brain is full of so many thoughts. So a break of 5 min is much needed for our brain. So practice the art of meditation. It’s helpful for sure.

“YOUR CALM MIND IS THE ULTIMATE WEAPON AGAINST ANY CHALLENGE IN LIFE.”
